This series captures the slides used in an exhibit to promote the first Great Boston Kite Festival and the installed slide projector presumably used to project the slides. While there are two dates indicated in the images, May 17 was the date of the actual festival. It’s possible this slideshow was used in the Prudential Center exhibit promoting the event.
