Description

“At a time when The Computer Museum  was assessing exhibit space requirements within a building then co-owned with the Boston Children’s Museum, Sand was retained to reexamine the museum’s program, space allocations and circulation plan, gallery design and a new lobby.

Recognizing the some board and staff members were not comfortable relying upon architectural drawings, Sand produced an enormous take-apart and recombinable scale model of the entire building – a vivid and comprehensible tool which facilited [sic] subsequent planning sessions.”
